1. Tehsil Welfare Officer (TWO) (Group-B): 43 posts
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.10300- 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 per month
Age Limit:
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 38 years
{Upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC/ BC category candidates and by 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates}.
Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline and passed Punjabi at Matric level or equivalent.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the two hours objective-type written test consisting of 100 objective type questions with multiple choice answers. The medium of test will be English. For every wrong answer, 1/4th marks will be deducted.
Written test will be held tentatively in November, 2014. Exact schedule will be displayed on the website. Admit cards for the test can be downloaded from the department website www.punjabscholarships.gov.in. The link to print Admit Cards would be sent to all candidates through their registered email
Test Fees: Non-refundable test fee of Rs.1000 (Rs.500 for SC and Disabled category candidates) is to be deposited in cash in any branch of State Bank of Patiala through the challan generated upon submission of on-line application till 10 October 2014.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should apply online through the Department of Welfare of SCs & BCs website www.punjabscholarships.gov.in till 7 October 2014.
On successful submission of the online application form, login id and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates should note these down for future use like downloading the Admit Card.
