Pay Scale

• Associate Professor: Rs. 37,400-67,000 + Rs 9000 AGP
• Assistant Professor: Rs.15,600-39,100 + Rs [6000/7000/8000] as applicable according to UGC guidelines issued in this regard and Allowances as admissible to DIAT (DU) employees.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification

1. Associate Professor: Candidate must have Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engg., / Tech., and relevant experience of 5 years in teaching, research and / or industry at the level of Lecturer/Assistant Professor or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.
2. Assistant Professor: Candidate must have Ph. D. Degree with a First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engg., & Tech., and relevant experience of 2 years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade. For Technical Disciplines, candidate should have First Class Master’s Degree in Technology Management /Project Management / in a management related discipline or first class in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / accredited by the AICTE / UGC.

Age Limit

1. Associate Professor: 45 years
2. Assistant Professor: 40 years
