Eligibility Criteria for Ice Plant Operator and Other Posts

Educational Qualification

• Ice Plant Assistant: SSLC or equivalent. Passed 2 years course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology from ITI (NCVT) approved by DGE&T or Certificate course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (2 years) from a State/ Central Board of Technical Education.

• Ice Plant Operator: Three years diploma in refrigeration engineering from recognized board / university OR (a) SSLC or equivalent (b) Passed 02 years course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from ITI (NCVT ) approved by DGE&T with one year experience in a government refrigeration plant.

• Mechanic Grade – B: SSLC or equivalent and ITI Certificate in one of the following (a) Turner (b) litter (c) Mechanic (d) General Mechanic (e) Marine Mechanic (f) Diesel Mechanic or equivalent or Certificate holder in Shore Mechanic course from a recognized Institute or equivalent.

• Technical Assistant:12^th with biology as a subject or equivalent.

Age Limit

18 – 25 years
