Directorate General, Border Security Force (BSF), New Delhi, under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 70 Group ‘A’ Officers post in BSF’s Air wing on Deputation (in Short-term contract)/Absorption / re-employment basis. Eligibility Criterion: Age limit, educational qualification and other eligibility conditions are different for different posts; refer to the full advertisement for post-wise eligibility condition and other related information.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates would be done through a multi-stage process including written examination (for testing the aptitude of the candidates), PST, Short-hand Test, Typing Test, Verification of documents and Medical Examination.
Only short-listed candidates would be called to participate in the selection process.
Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.50 (only for Gen/ OBC candidates) is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of ‘The Inspector General’ or
DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/ post office.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with 3 photographs, application fee DD/ IPO in original, 2 self addressed envelopes and copies of relevant certificates/ documents by post to the concerned office so as to reach the concerned authority till the last day of the 12th month from the date of issue of the notification in the Employment News i.e. till 2 May 2015 as the notification got published in Employment News dated 3-9 May 2014.
