Eligibility Criteria for Lower Division Assistant & Other Posts:

Educational Qualification

• Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil): Candidate should possess Diploma in Civil Engineering from any council or board recognized by State Govt.
• Stenographer (English): Bachelor Degree and ability to take dictation at speed of at least eighty words per minute.
• Stenographer (Bengali): Bachelor Degree and ability to take dictation at speed of at least seventy words per minute.
• Computer Assistant: Bachelor degree with one year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application Course (PGDCA).
• Assistant Cashier, Lower Division Assistant, Typist (English, Bengali): Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks.
• Group-D: Passed class VIIIth examination.

Age Limit:

• Sub-Assistant Engineer, Computer Assistant, Assistant Cashier, Typist (English): Upper age limit for the post is 40 years.
• Stenographer (English), Lower Division Assistant, Typist (Bengali): Upper age limit for the post is 45 years.
• Stenographer (Bengali): Upper age limit for the post is 43 years.
