DRDO Job Notification: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications for the Research Associates (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) posts. Eligible and interested persons can apply for Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Recruitment 2020 through the prescribed application format on or before 15 September 2020.
Following fellowship of Research Associates (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) are available to work in DRDO project at Defence Laboratory, Jodhpur (Rajasthan), a material cluster laboratory of DRDO.
Duration of Fellowship: 02 years for RA & JRF (JRF may be extended further and upgraded to SRF as per rules).

Eligibility Criteria for Research Associates (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Job
Educational Qualification and Age Limit:
- Research Associate (RA): PhD or equivalent degree on a topic related to Thermoelectric materials or modules or having 03 (Three) years of Research,Teaching and Design & Developmentexperience in Thermoelectric materials or M.E./M.Tech.in Material Science/Materials Engineering/metallurgy with at least one research paper in Science citation index (SCI) journal. Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
- JRF (Physics/Material Science): Post graduate degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Physics with Istdivision and National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification conducted by CSIR -UGC (NET), MHRD (GATE) or JEST. or Graduate degree in professional course (B.E./B.Tech.) in Material Science/Materials Engineering/Nanotechnology in Ist division with NET/GATE qualification or Post graduate (M.E./M.Tech.) and graduate (B.E./B.Tech) degrees in professional courses in Materials Science/Materials Engineering/Nanotechnology in first division, both at graduate and post graduate level. Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years.
- JRF (Chemistry): Post graduate degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Chemistry with Istdivision and National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification conducted by CSIR -UGC (NET), MHRD (GATE) or JEST. or Graduate degree in professional course (B.E./B. Tech.) in Chemical Engineering/Material Science/Polymer Science/Industrial Chemistry/Nanotechnology in Ist division with NET/GATE qualification or Post graduate in Professional course (M.E./M. Tech.) in Chemical Engineering/Material Science/Industrial Chemistry/Nanotechnology in Ist division, both at graduate and post graduate level. Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years.
- JRF (Electronics): Graduate degree in professional course (B.E./B. Tech.) in Electronics/Electronics & Communication in first division with NET/GATE qualification or Post graduate (M.E./M. Tech.) and graduate (B.E./B.Tech) degrees in professional courses in Electronics/Electronics & Communication in first division, both at graduate and post graduate level. Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years.
- JRF (Computer): Graduate degree in professional course (B.E./B. Tech.) in Computer Science/Information Technology Ist division with NET/GATE qualification or Post graduate (M.E./M. Tech.) and graduate (B.E./B.Tech) degrees in professional courses in Computer Science/Information Technology in Ist division, both at graduate and post graduate level. Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years.

How to Apply
Eligible and interested persons can apply for Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Recruitment 2020 through the prescribed application format on or before 15 September 2020. All Applications shall be screen by a screening committee and short-list candidates will be called for interview. Interview may be conducted at DLJ/online as per COVID-19 situation after 15 September 2020. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for appearing for the Test/Interview.
