Delhi University (DU) will release its third cut-off list on 08 July 2014 for the undergraduate courses. The second cut-off list was issued few days back on 04 July 2014 which saw a marginal drop of percentage from its first cut-off list.
With the release of the second cut-off list, many popular courses have been closed in almost every reputed college. The second list saw only a drop of 0.25% in the percentage from the first cut-off list. Some courses like psychology, philosophy and BA programme of Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) were closed already after the first list was issued. It is only that the third cut-off list may have some seats available for BCom (hons) programme offered by the college.
Around 30 Delhi University colleges including Hindu, Hansraj, Miranda House and Sri Venkateswara College will keep the admissions open for some of the popular courses after the third list is issued. The list includes honours courses in economics, English, philosophy, sociology, zoology, physics, chemistry and mathematics which will have admissions still rolling.
