Eligibility Criteria for Professor Job

For Medical Candidates –Post graduate like MD or MS or equivalent. For Dentistry: a post graduate like MDS or equivalent in the respective subject or allied discipline. An experience of four/three years in teaching as Reader or Associate Professor in recognized medical college/in teaching as Associate Professor in concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with minimum four research publications is a must.

For Non-medical Candidates –Master’s degree and a doctorate degree from a recognized university in concerned subject or allied discipline. An experience of four/three years in teaching as Reader or Associate Professor in recognized medical college/in teaching as Associate Professor in concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with minimum four research publications is a must.

Eligibility Criteria for Associate Professor Job

For Medical Candidates –Post graduate like MD or MS or equivalent in the respective subject or allied discipline. For Dentistry: a post graduate like MDS or equivalent in the respective subject or allied discipline. An experience of five/four years in teaching as Lecturer or Assistant Professor in recognized medical college/in teaching as Associate Professor in concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with minimum two research publications is a must.

For Non-medical Candidates –Master’s degree and a doctorate degree from a recognized university in concerned subject or allied discipline. An experience of five/four years in teaching as Lecturer or Assistant Professor in recognized medical college/in teaching as Associate Professor in concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with minimum two research publications is a must.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor Job

For Medical Candidates –Post graduate like MD or MS or equivalent in the respective subject or allied discipline.

For Non-medical Candidates –Master’s degree and a doctorate degree from a recognized university in concerned subject or allied discipline. An experience of three years in teaching as Resident or Registrar or Demonstrator or Tutor in recognized medical college either during the post graduate course or after obtaining the degree in the subject.

Age Limit for Professor, Associate Professor Job

Gen: Not exceeding 67 years

Age Limit for Assistant Professor Job

Gen: Not exceeding 50 years

Note: Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per the rules of Government of India
