Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Project Scientist 'C': Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Computer Applications or its equivalent degree.
- Project Scientist 'C' / 'B': Masters Degree in Physics or Mathematics or Atmospheric Science or Meteorology or Physical Oceanography or Science/Technology in Oceanography or ocean engineering or its equivalent degree OR Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical branch or its equivalent degree.
- Project Scientist 'B': Masters Degree in Science/Technology in Physical Oceanography or Physics or Ocean Technology or Geo-Informatics or Remote Sensing & GIS or Spatial Information Technology or Geomatics or Geo-spatial sciences and technologies or Atmospheric Sciences or its equivalent OR Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology in Ocean Technology or Civil Engineering with specialization in coastal engineering or its equivalent degree.
- Project Assistant: Diploma in Electronics and Communications or Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering or its equivalent, Bachelor degree with Physics or Mathematics or Computers as major subjects or BCA or Diploma in Computers Engineering or its equivalent.
- Project Assistant (Coordinator-III): Bachelors degree or its equivalent AND Skill Test Norms Dictation: 10 minutes @ 120 w.p.m. and Transcription: 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer with respective certificates from State Technical Education Board.
- Office Assistant: Bachelor degree and basic knowledge of computers.
- Project Assistant (Hindi) (Jr. Translator): Masters Degree.
Age Limit
- Project Scientist 'C': The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 40 years.
- Project Scientist 'C' / 'B': The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 40/35 years.
- Project Scientist 'B': The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 35 years.
- Project Assistant: The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 28 years.
- Project Assistant (Coordinator-III): The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 35 years.
- Office Assistant: The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 35 years.
- Project Assistant (Hindi) (Jr. Translator): The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 30 years.
Selection Process
Selection process will be done on the basis of performance in Interview.
