GAIL is one of the leading Maharatna PSU and India's flagship Natural Gas company. Every year the organisation conducts recruitment for Executive Trainee Engineers in the disciplines of Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil and Business Information System (BIS) through GATE score.
Who can apply for GAIL recruitment 2017?
Only those candidates who have completed full time Regular courses (this shall include School examinations (Class X and XII), all Diploma(s), Graduation and Post-Graduation) can apply for the recruitment. All qualifications must be from UGC recognized Indian University/ UGC recognized Indian Deemed University or AICTE approved courses from Autonomous Indian Institutions/ concerned statutory council (wherever applicable). Diploma in Engineering qualification (if applicable) should be recognized by respective State Board of Technical Education.
Candidates must have got 65% marks in the degree in order to apply for GAIL recruitment. Engineering Degree can be B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. Engg. Candidates having 05 years B.E / B. Tech. + M.E / M. Tech. integrated dual degree in engineering in relevant discipline shall also be considered.
GAIL has also set the upper age limit as 28 years as on 20 January 2017.
What’s the selection procedure?
Selection will be based on the GATE-2017 score and requirement, candidates will be short-listed for Group Discussion and/ or Personal Interview for the position of Executive Trainee in the above disciplines.

GATE-2017 Registration number (which will be mentioned in the admit card) is required to apply for GAIL recruitment

Give all the details asked and submit the application
After successful submission of online application by the candidate, a unique registration number shall be generated by the system and a message shall be displayed in the system that the online application has been submitted successfully
Candidates should note that there is no separate fee for applying for the above posts of Executive Trainee in GAIL. A Candidate can apply for one post/ discipline only
