Gauhati High Court Notified for 21 System Assistant Posts in 14 District Courts

Gauhati High Court (GHC), the High court of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh, notified recruitment to 21 posts of System Assistant in 14 District Courts (DCs) of Assam on contractual basis. Maximum: 30 years

Educational Qualification:  10+2 / Higher Secondary with one year Diploma in Computer Applications (Software / Hardware) or BCA or B.Sc (Comp Sci. / IT) or Diploma in Engg. (Computer / Electronics / Electrical) or certificate in DOEACC ‘A’ level.

Application Fee: General, OBC and MOBC candidates have to deposit Rs.100 and SC / ST / PWD candidates should deposit Rs.50 as application fee in Current Account No. 32512284007 of the State Bank of India through a fee payment Challan available on the Gauhati High Court (GHC) Website www.ghconline.gov.in.

Candidates will have to download the challan from the website and print it for depositing fees in the bank.

Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in online screening test followed by Interview.

Applicants found eligible will be called for Online Screening Test to be held at Guwahati (in the Gauhati High Court Premises). The date and time for the Online Screening Test would be intimated in the due course to the eligible candidates. 

Candidates qualifying / clearing the Online Screening Test will only appear for the Interview.

No TA/ DA will be paid for appearing in the Online Screening Test and Interview.

Pay: Rs.6800 per month (consolidated).

How to Apply: 

Candidates can apply online by logging on to Gauhati High Court (GHC) website- http://www.ghconline.gov.in within 15 days from the date of publication of the advertisement (The advertisement was published on 5 November 2012). After submission of online application candidates must take note of system generated Application Number and retain it for further use.

Before filling up the online application form, candidates should keep ready scanned soft copies of their passport size photograph and signature in .jpg format. 

Candidates should carefully fill in the relevant details at the appropriate places in the On-Line Application, upload scanned copies of their passport sized photographs and signatures, and SUBMIT the online application form. After submission of the form, a Registration Number will be generated by the system. Candidates should immediately take a printout of this system generated filled-up on-line application form with Registration number or download it in PDF format and retain it for future reference.

Application submitted by any other mode will not be accepted. 

Note:  

• The appointment to the post will be co-terminus with the e-courts Mission Mode Project funded by the Government of India.

• Candidates should have a valid e-mail ID as all communication related to recruitment would be done through mail.
