Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment (NIHE) has invited applications for the posts of Junior Project Fellow/Junior Project Fellow on its official website. Candidate having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic records and experience can apply for these posts under ‘Himalayan Alpine Biodiversity Characterization and Information System-Network (NMHS-IIRS)’ project at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute.

Essential Qualification: First class M.Sc. in Botany/Forestry/Ecology/ Environmental Science OR M. Sc in Remote Sensing & GIS or equivalent with dissertation in Forestry/Ecology.
Desired Qualification: Knowledge of plant taxonomy and application of RS & GIS in forestry and ecology.
Junior Project Fellow/Junior Project Fellow: Rs. 31,000 + HRA per month as per institute norms (for NET qualified) and Rs. 20,000 + HRA per month as per institute norms (Non-NET)
