G. B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment & Sustainable Development, Almora (GBPIHED Almora) will be conducting Walk –in- Interview and invites eligible candidates to appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the posts of Programme Officer and other posts for various projects . Posts are purely on Contractual Basis. The eligible candidates may appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the respective posts on 02 November 2016 (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM onwards at in the Institute Campus at Kosi- Katarmal, Almora – 263 643, Uttarakhand.

Eligibility Criteria for GBPIHED Almora Programme Officer and Other Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

• Programe Officer/ Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Junior Project Fellow/ Project Assistant- II: Possess Master’s Degree in the respective discipline.
• Field Assistant: Possess Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned field of Science/ Arts.

Experience Required:  Having 01 or more years (whichever applicable) relevant post- qualification experience in the concerned field for the respective posts.

Age Limit

Gen: as on date of Interview.

Programe Officer: 45 years.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Junior Project Fellow/ Project Assistant- II: 28 years.

Field Assistant: 35 years

OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD/ Woman candidates & Others: As per norms.

Selection Procedure for GBPIHED Almora Programme Officer and Other Jobs:

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Walk –in- Interview/ Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
