Goa Board HSSC Results 2014 is expected to be declared on 10 May 2014

Apr 11, 2014 18:02 IST

Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is expected to announce its Class 12 Board Exam Results 2014 on or around 10 May 2014, said the Goa Board Chairperson, Jose Remedios Rebello to a media house on 10 April.

Over 12,500 students appeared in Goa Board Higher Secondary Schools Certificate Exams 2014, and have been waiting anxiously for their Class XII board exam results.

Rebello also revealed that the Class 10 results 2014 shall be declared after 20 May 2014. Around 20,000 students appeared in the Goa Board Class 10 public exams this year.

Last year, the Class 12 results were declared on 02 May, but this year it will be out late as the procedure of paper correction and result compilation has been done at slow pace due to the Lok Sabha elections in Goa.

However, there would be no change in the manner the results are being declared in the state, said Rebello. The results will be made available in both grades as well as marks, like previous years.

As per the sources, paper evaluation process is still on and may experience a break during the polling day in the state.

In 2013, the pass percentage of Class 12 students was close to 83%, which was a slight rise from the previous years' results.
