Gujarat Engineering Admission: Merit List and Choice Filling Postponed to June 21:
The Gujarat Engineering Admission, merit list announcement and subsequent choice filling has been postponed to June 21, 2014. As per the latest notification, the Gujarat Engineering Admission 2014, merit list will not be declared on june 16 as notified earlier.

About The Exam:
Gujarat Engineering Admission 2014 (formerly known as GUJCET)is an state level Exam for the admission in Undergradute courses of different engineering colleges of Gujarat. It is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses, Commissionerate of Technical Education, Gujarat State.  Candidates wish to avail the admissions for the B.Tech courses in Gujarat have to qualify in the JEE Main 2014 as the state entrance has been replaced by the Joint Entrance Examination 2014. Following is the number of seats available in all the engineering colleges.

• Self financed institutes: 52685
• Government Institutes: 8970
• Government aided institutes: 1194
• Autonomous Institutes: 132
• Public Private Partnership (PPP) Institutes: 540
