Gujarat National Law University issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor of Law (Entry Level). Interested candidates should send their applications to the concerned authority by post so as to reach the University on or before 1 May 2014.

Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 with AGP of Rs.6000 per month
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in relevant subject or an equivalent degree; Candidate must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SETOR candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009;
Experience required: Experience in teaching/research in premier law universities/colleges
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
Only short listed candidates will be called for the Interview.
Date of Interview will be communicated to the eligible candidates.
The appointment will be initially for a period of five years, extendable as per requirements.
Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.500 (Rs.250 for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates) in favour of ‘Gujarat National Law University’ payable at Ahmedabad.
