Department of Posts, Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Gujarat Circle, Ahmedabad invited applications for recruitment 1200 posts of Postman and 22 posts of Mail Guard in Postal/Railway Mail Service division through Direct Recruitment i.e. from open market by holding aptitude test/examination. The last date for receipt of the application is 14 April 2016.
Candidates who are interested and are Matriculation pass are eligible to apply for the post; the age bar is 18-27 years for the posts. The selection of the candidates would be based on Aptitude Test/Examination which would be conducted by the organization.
The examination paper would include questions from General Knowledge, Mathematics, English and Regional Language i.e., Gujarati of 25 marks each. Overall, the examination paper will be of 100 marks containing Multiple Choice Questions. Aptitude test will comprise of 04 parts i.e, Part A, B, C (i), C (ii).
Candidates who are interested and are eligible can apply for the posts of Postman and Mail Guard through the prescribed format along with required documents on or before 14 April 2016.
