Eligibility Criteria for recruitment in Gurgaon Gramin Bank

Educational Qualification

• Officer MMG Scale- III (Group A): Degree from a recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Experience: 5 years
• Officer MMG Scale- II (Group A)

•a)      IT Officer: Engineering Degree from a recognised University in Electronics/ Communication/ Computer Science/ IT or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc. Experience: 1 year

•b)      Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing from any Institute of repute. Experience: 1 year

•c)      Agriculture Officer: Degree  from  a recognised University in any discipline in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Experience: 2 years

•d)      General Banking Officer: Degree from a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree/ diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Experience: 2 years

• Officer JMG Scale- I (Group A): Bachelor degree of a recognised university in any discipline or its equivalent. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Desirable: Proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi. Computer Knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification
• Office Assistants (Multipurpose) (Group B): Bachelor Degree or its equivalent of a recognised university in any discipline. Essential: Proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer skills

• Officer Scale III: Above 21 years but below 40 years
• Officer Scale II: Above 21 years but below 32 years
• Officer Scale I: Above 18 years but below 28 years

• Pay Scale for Officer MMG Scale-III: Rs 25700- 31500; Total emoluments Rs 42830
• Pay Scale for Officer MMG Scale-II: Rs 19400- 28100; Total emoluments Rs 32330
• Pay Scale for JMG Scale-I: Rs 14,500- 25700; Total emoluments Rs 24164
• Pay Scale for Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 7200- 19300; Total emoluments Rs 13372

Selection Procedure for recruitment in Gurgaon Gramin Bank: The eligible candidates will be called for written test and interview. Wrong answers given in the objective test will result in negative marks. The candidates securing a minimum of 40% marks in the written test in each subject, shall qualify for interview (35% for SC/ ST categories).

Application Fee: Application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 500 for the post of Officer Scale III and Officer II and Rs 400 for the post of Officer Scale 1 and Office Assistant, and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen candidates is Rs 50.

Application fee needs to be paid in the form of challan available on bank's website for all the posts. After filling up the required information on the Challan Form, they should make payment of the fee applicable to them in any branch of Syndicate Bank for credit of account.

Candidates should keep the ‘Candidate's Copy' of the Challan with receipt of fees duly acknowledged thereon, with them for producing the same at the time of written test along with the latest passport size photograph pasted on the challan and signed across by the candidate.  Candidates are advised to keep 3 photocopies of the fee payment challan for future use.
