High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur Notified Recruitment for 08 Posts of District Judge 2014

High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur invited applications from the eligible candidates fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following posts of “District Judge (Entry Level)” in the cadre of Higher Judicial Service by direct recruitment from the Bar. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 06 June 2014 and Direct Recruitment Written Examination on 20 July 2014.

Educational Qualification

Higher Judicial Service by direct recruitment

(i) Should be  a citizen of India;

(ii) Should have attained the age of 35 years to 45 years on the first day of January 2014.

(iii) Shoud have 07 (seven) years in continuous practice as an Advocate on the first day of January 2014. The applicant shall furnish a certificate from the Registrar General of the High Court or Principal District & Sessions Judge concerned.

Age Limit & Relaxation

Age Limit for the candidate should be 27 years (27 or 35 years (for post 1)) as on last date of receipt of application and Relaxation should be as per Govt. rules.

Pay Scale

Pay Scale of Rs. 51550 -1230- 58930 -1380- 63070 in the cadre of Higher Judicial Service by direct recruitment from the Bar.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test followed with the Trade Test and finally the Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.

Examination Fee

Examination Fee of Rs. 1000/- for Unreserved Category candidates and Rs. 700/- for other will deposited in the form of Challan with SBI Branches. Challan Form is available on the website www.cghighcourt.nic.in

• Interested candidates may apply in prescribed format along with the photocopies of testimonials/ certificates relating to educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, category (SC/ ST/ OBC), etc. and with four recent passport size photographs with one self addressed envelope affixing the postal stamp of Rs. 25/- enclosed and must reach to the “Registrar General, High Court of Chhattisgarh, at Bodri, Bilaspur (C.G.) Pin – 495 220” on or before 06 June 2014 up to 05:00 PM.
