Staff Selection Commission recruits candidates for various government departments and for different posts as the vacancy demands in these offices. How many hours to study for SSC
There is no set formula or number of hours which can make a candidate successful but a proper and routine mannerism in their preparation can land them up into better possibilities of getting selected. The time table and distribution of preparatory hours is important for each of the papers. There is a break up of your preparatory time that is given which could be followed by the candidates:
- Quantitative Aptitude: Quantitative Aptitude is a tricky paper and needs repetitive practice to better the skills and methods in solving he questions in limited time. Hence a candidate must invest 2 hours to 3 hours time a day for this particular paper.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: Reasoning is another such paper which requires intensive preparation and observance of skills and methods. The paper should be read and practiced for almost 2 hours a day for better results in the examination.
- English Language: English language skills and its various components like reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar are tested in the examination and the candidates should practice at least 1 to 2 hours a day with this language.
- General Awareness: General awareness requires more time of you are to be spent over the newspapers or searching of news of importance over the internet. You can spend almost an hour for this paper daily and make a list of important topics that you have come across during the preparation.
So, candidates are advised to 7 to 8 hour daily study to crack SSC examination.
