Common Management Admission Test -- an AICTE approved entrance exam conducted twice a year in September and February -- will be conducted in September 2013 for five days from 26 September 2013 to 30 September 2013.
The entrance test is conducted to facilitate various AICTE approved Management Institutions across the country to select suitable students for admission to their Management programs. The test also eases things for the students by eliminating the burden of appearing in multiple management entrance examinations.
Candidates willing to apply for CMAT September 2014-15 can register online through AICTE website till 21 August 2013. The detailed step-by-step procedure is as follows:
Registering for CMAT September 2013 is a 3 Step process.
Step 1: Self Registration
Log in to AICTE website www.aicte-cmat.in and click on NEW USER link. Read the instructions, accept the declaration and proceed. Candidates will reach the Self Registration page, where they will be required to fill some basic information regarding them. After filling in the asked information, candidates should check the filled in data and click SUBMIT. Once successful submission of the information, a unique 6 digit password will be generated by the system and displayed on the computer screen. The password will be also sent to the candidates via e-mail and SMS.
In future, candidates will be able to log-in using their e-mail id and the unique 6 digit password using the EXISTING USER link.
Step 2) Fees Payment: Candidates can deposit the required fees either online or through offline mode using the fee payment challan. However, Candidates not residing in India can deposit fees online only. The facility of offline payment of fess is not open to them.
Mode I) Online Payment: Candidates willing to deposit the fees using the online mode can do so using Credit card / Debit card / through Net Banking.
For online fee payment, Candidates will select ONLINE PAYMENT mode and then make the payment using Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking. On successful payment, candidates will receive a confirmation e-mail and sms on their registered e-mail ID and mobile nos.
Mode II) Cash Payment in SBI bank using fee payment challan:
Candidates willing to pay the fees through offline mode can pay the required fees in Cash at any of the designated SBI bank branch in India using the fee payment challan available online for download.
For offline fee payment, Candidates will select OFFLINE PAYMENT mode. On making the selection a CHALLAN form with candidates’ details already filled in it will appear on the screen. Candidates are required to take Print outs of this challan, fill in the remaining details in all the copies. Next day, they should visit any nearest SBI bank branch and deposit the required fees.
Within 48 hours of depositing the fees, candidates will receive an e-mail and SMS confirming that their payment has been updated in the registration portal.
After 48 hours, candidates need to re-login into the portal and complete the remaining part of Registration process.
Cash Deposit will be accepted only from the next day of the Challan generation.
The last date to pay CASH in bank is 22 August 2013 and from there onwards to complete registration is 24 August 2013.
Step 3) Completing the Registration process: After depositing the fees, candidates should re-login and fill the remaining information asked in the form, check the filled in data, accept the declaration and click on I AGREE. The system will re-confirm to you for SUBMIT.
After this candidates can click on PREVIEW button and view their filled application form.
Please login from 12th September, 2013 onwards to download your exam ADMIT CARD.
