Common Admission Test or CAT, as it is popularly known, is a computer based test conducted by IIMs across the country to select students for their business administration programs.
Every year the test is conducted by one of the IIM's, based on the ‘Policy of Rotation’. This year, the test will be conducted between 16 October 2013 and 11 November 2013, by IIM, Indore and the online registration will commence from 5 August 2013.
Interested candidates can obtain the admission voucher from any of the designated Axis Bank branches. This year 30 more Axis bank branches have been added to provide CAT 2013 candidates even greater convenience.

From this year, IIM- Indore is also offering the vouchers online. Interested candidates can purchase the CAT Admission vouchers directly from the IIM websites by making online payment for the same.
The vouchers – offline / online – will be available from 5 August 2013 till 24 September 2013.
