Eligibility Criteria for HPPSC Asst Professor & Other Posts

Educational Qualification:

• Assistant Professor (OBG) Class-I (Gazetted): M.D. or M.S. (Obstetrics and Midwifery & M.S. (Gynaecology) Speciality Board of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (USA).
• Assistant Professor (Radiotherapy) Class-I (Gazetted): M.D. or M.S. (Radiotherapy) DMRT (2 years’ course).
• Assistant Professor (Community Medicine) Class-I (Gazetted): M.D. (Social & Preventive Medicine) Speciality Board of Social and Preventive Medicine (USA).
• Assistant Professor (Skin & VD) Class-I (Gazetted): MD (Dermatology and Venereology), MD (Medicine) with D.V.D.
• Assistant Professor (Orthopaedics) Class-I (Gazetted): M.S. (Orthopaedics) M.Ch. (Orthopaedics) Speciality Board of Orthopaedics Surgery (U.S.A.).
• Assistant Professor (Nephrology) Class-I (Gazetted): D.M. Nephrology 2/3 years course as recognized by M.C.I. after M.D. Medicine, or MBBS and 5 years direct course leading to D.M. Nephrology.
• Senior Planning Draughtsman, Class-II (Non-Gazetted): B. Tech. Degree in Urban/ City/ Town/ Regional Planning or its equivalent from a recognized University or from an Institute duly recognized by the Central/ H.P. Government.
• Company Secretary, Class-I (Gazetted): Graduate from a recognized University. Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for at least 3 years.
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical), Class-I (E-O level): Degree in Electrical Engineering with 55% marks in case of SC/ST/internal HPPTCL candidates & for other categories 60% marks having passed the Degree from a recognized University/ Institution of India. AMIE shall be recognized qualification for internal candidates.
• Assistant Engineer (Civil), Class-I (E-O level): Degree in Civil Engineering with 55% marks in case of SC/ ST/ internal HPPTCL candidates & for other categories 60% marks having passed the Degree from a recognized University/ Institution of India. AMIE shall be recognized qualification for internal candidates.
• Assistant Engineer (Civil): Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from an Institution / University duly recognized by the Central / State Government.
• Amchi (Tibetan Chikitsak) Class-I (Gazetted): 10+2 examination with Science or its equivalent examination from Board/University recognized by the Central/ State Government.
• Medical Officer (Dental) Class-I (Gazetted): A Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the Institute recognized by the Dental Council of India.
• Manager (Finance & Accounts) Class-I: Master Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Operational Research, Commerce and Business Admn. with minimum 5 years experience in theses disciplines in a Financial Institution / Commercial Bank. Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ Associate member of the Institute of Works and Cost Accountants of India.

Age Limit for HPPSC Asst Professor & Other Posts:

• Assistant Professor, Amchi, Medical Officer (Dental) & Manager (Finance & Accounts): 45 years and below
• Senior Planning Draughtsman, Class-II (Non-Gazetted): Between 18 and 45 years
• For Other Posts: Between 18 and 45 years
