Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University newly introduced B Com Honours and has already received twelve thousand applications so far with one two more days to go before the registration process ends for the 2013-14 admissions.
Apparently, the overall number of applicants have also taken a steep hike from 1.72 lakh in 2012, to 1.8 lakh this year, 2013.
B Com has now become the third most sought after course after the engineering and law programmes. The other reason for the soaring applications could also be because of the fact that now Delhi University will be soon gearing into four year long under graduate courses.
