In the interconnected Global network of countries the strategic interest of the countries are governed by the Geo-Economic Interest of the countries. The Geo-Economic interest is driving the foreign policy of various countries but still in some arenas the Strategic interest overrides the Economic Interest. The ‘India’s Interaction with the outer world’ is in the Syllabus for the IAS Main so this has to be kept in mind that during this interaction the Paramount objective of our Foreign Policy should not be compromised.
