IAS Main 2013:Model Questions on International Events

After the Liberalisation era in the early nineties India is no more immune to the Global Events. India is now following the global order to achieve its objective of Socio-Economic Development. The basic and underlying objective of the India’s Foreign Policy is to achieve the Overall development for the people of this Nation without compromising its independence of taking the strategic decisions.

After the linkage of India with the global order, India is not immune to the happenings around the world. Our culture is not immune from the evolving global culture. The Socio-Cultural interactions are on the continuous rise and amalgamation of culture is taking place.

India is now following the World Economic Order and is affected by the Economic recessions and downturns. The overall effects can be seen on our foreign policy and the economic policies.
