Eligibility Criteria for Research Associate & Other Posts

Educational Qualification

• Research Associate (RA): Candidate should be Ph.D. in any Discipline of Home Science. Or, Master degree in any Discipline of Home Science with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements.
• Research Associate (RA):Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension/ Sociology/ Economics/ any discipline of Home Science. Or, Master degree in Agricultural Extension/ Sociology/ Economics/ any discipline of Home Science with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements.
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master's degree in Agriculture with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having post graduate in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification.
• Office Assistant: Any Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.

Age Limit

Research Associate, Office Assistant:

Men: Upper age limit for the post is 40 years.

Women: 45 years.

Senior Research Fellow:

Men: Upper age limit for the post is 35 years.

Women: 40 years.
