Eligibility Criteria for Scientist-B/D & MTS Posts
Educational Qualifications and Experience Criteria
- Scientist D (Molecular Virology) - Post graduate degree (MD/DNB) with five year R&D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with six years R&D/teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university. Or MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with 8 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after MBBS Degree. Or First class Master’s degree in the relevant subjects from a recognized university with 8 years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after Master’s Degree. Or Second Class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with 8 years experience.
- Scientist D (Micrbiology) – Post graduate degree (MD Microbiology/Clinical Pathology) with five year R&D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in relevant subjects with six years R&D/teaching experience from recognized university. or Second Class M.Sc (Life Sciences) + Ph.D degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry from a recognized University with 8 years’ experience after completion of M.Sc + Ph.D
- Scientist B (Social Behavioral Research) - First class Master’s degree in Social Work / Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology from a recognized University with 4 years R & D / teaching experience in the relevant subject, after Master’s degree. Or Second class Master’s degree in Social work/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology + Ph.D. in the relevant subject from a recognized University with 4 years R & D/ teaching experience, after Master’s degree + Ph.D.
- Multi Tasking Staff- Matriculation / High School or equivalent from a recognized Board.
