IGIMS Notified Recruitment for Senior Resident to 12 Departments

Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), an Autonomous Institute of Government of Bihar, issued notification for recruitment of Senior Resident to three year Senior Residency Programme in 12 different departments of the Institute. Interested candidates can apply till 12 November 2012.

 NOTE:

The posts are non-practicing. Private practice of any kind, direct or indirect, including laboratory is strictly prohibited and if, those appointed, are found indulging in such private practice, his/her appointment shall be terminated.

Age Limit (as on 30 November 2012):

Maximum: 35 Years

(Upper age limit relaxed by 03 years for MBC/OBC and for all categories of Female candidate and by 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

Note:  Reservation benefit shall be applicable to Bihar State domicile candidate only and the applicant from outside the State of Bihar will not be entitled for the benefit of reservation. Physical-Handicapped candidate will be given the  benefit of reservation and relaxation as per rule of Govt. of Bihar.

Pay Scale:

Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated amount per month along with NPA + usual allowances as admissible for Senior Residents. The amount per month for every year is as follows:

Educational Qualification:

1. A Medical qualification as included in schedule I & II of MCI Act.

2. Recognized P.G. qualification of MD/MS in specialization concerned or allied Surgical/Medical specialty.

Note: Candidate must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs.500 [Rs.125 for SC/ST candidates] has to be paid through a Crossed DD drawn in favour of ‘Director, IGIMS, Patna’ and payable at Patna.

Selection Procedure:

Final selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in Interview.

A Screening Committee will shortlist candidates for the Interview on the basis of information provided in the application.

NOTE: No TA/DA would be paid to those selected for the Interview.

In-campus stay would be compulsory, if accommodation is provided.

Director, IGIMS, Sheikhpura, Patna-14 (Bihar)” through registered post / speed post / Courier so as to reach the office on or before 12 November 2012 (1600 hours).

Candidate must write “Advt. No. and Name of the Post and Department” on the top of the envelope containing the application form.
