IGNOU Notified Admissions for July 2014 Session

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started admission process for its Distance Education Academic Programs for July 2014 session, as stated in an official announcement on IGNOU’s website. Interested yet eligible candidates may apply through the prescribed format on or before 20 June 2014 or 31 July 2014 with late fee of Rs 300/- .

Course Details

As stated in the IGNOU’s official notification, Admissions are open for Masters of Computer Applications (MCA), MA in Rural Development, Tourism Management, English, Hindi, Philosophy, Gandhi & Peace Studies, Extension & Development Studies, Education, Anthropology, Gender & Development Studies, Master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Social Work(Counseling),Distance Education, Economics, History, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Adult Education, Women’s & Gender Studies, Master of Commerce (M.Com), Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), M.Sc (Dietetics and Food Services Management), M.Sc (Counseling and Family Therapy).
The university also invites applications for Bachelor degree programmes like Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) (with major in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology); Bachelor of Arts (BA) (with major in Hindi, English, Urdu, Economics, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Psychology, Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology), BA in Tourism Studies, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLIS), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), BBA in Retailing (BBARL); and Bachelor Preparatory Programme (BPP) (preparing students for taking admission in IGNOU’s selected programmes).
Other programmes of PG DIPLOMA, DIPLOMA, ADVANCED CERTIFICATE, and PG CERTIFICATE & CERTIFICATE are also available.

How to Apply

Student Handbook and Prospectus can be obtained from all the Regional Centers/ Study Centers of the university in person for Rs.200/ or can be asked by post from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 by sending a DD of Rs.250/- in favour of IGNOU, New Delhi.
