Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) invited the candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and Professor on contractual basis. The candidates eligible for the post can send their application in the prescribed format on 19 August 2016.
Under Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Recruitment 2016, out of total 06 posts, 01 post is allotted to Assistant Professor (Statistics/Systems), 01 post is allotted to Assistant Professor (Supply Chain Management), 01 post is allotted to Assistant Professor (Finance), 01 post is allotted to Assistant Professor (HR), 01 post is allotted to Assistant Professor (Marketing) and 01 post is allotted to Professor.
Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Statistics/Systems) - Candidates for the position must have a Ph.D. degree in applied statistics, operations research, quantitative methods, management science, optimization, Computer Science or a closely related field. The successful candidate will teach predictive analytics and data mining to graduate students.
Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Supply Chain Management) – Candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Industry experience will be desirable. Applicants must have expertise in the various sub-disciplines of supply chain management, and be able to teach effectively at graduate level and publish in top international journals in the area.
Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Finance) - Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Financial Management from a reputed institute. Preference will be given to candidates with emerging scholarly records and demonstrated teaching expertise with graduate students and executives, and mentoring Ph.D. students. Candidates should have a good publications record in top international journals and also have experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.
Eligibility for Assistant Professor (HR) - Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Human Resources from a reputed institute. Preference will be given to candidates with emerging scholarly records and demonstrated teaching expertise with graduate students and executives, and mentoring Ph.D. students. Candidates should have a good publications record in top international journals and also have experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.
Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Marketing) - Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Marketing Management from a reputed institute. Preference will be given to candidates with emerging scholarly records and demonstrated teaching expertise with graduate students and executives, and mentoring Ph.D. Prepared by Arindam Banerjee, Jr. Assistant international journals and also have experience or a willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research or service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.
Eligibility for Professor - Candidate for the position must have a Ph.D. degree in applied statistics, operations research, quantitative methods, management science, optimization, Computer Science or Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Financial Management or Human Resources or Marketing Management or a closely related discipline.
