Eligibility Criteria for Demonstrator, Laboratory Assistant and Laboratory Attendant Job

Educational Qualification

• Demonstrator (Weaving): Three years Diploma in Handloom Technology or Textile Technology or Three years Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology or equivalent from a recognized Institution with two years practical experience in a weaving mill or handloom or Power loom factory. Must be well acquainted with weaving mechanism, cloth analysis and transfer of designs to point paper and loom.
• Laboratory Assistant (Workshop): Matriculate or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University and ITI Training in Mechanical or Fitter or Carpentry trades from recognized Institution with five years of experience in the field.
• Laboratory Attendant (Workshop): Matriculate or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University with two years of experience in a Workshop in Carpentry or Blacksmith.
• Laboratory Attendant (Weaving): Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University with at least two years of experience in winding, warping and other operations related to weaving.

Age Limit for Demonstrator, Laboratory Assistant and Laboratory Attendant Job

• Demonstrator, Laboratory Assistant and Laboratory Attendant: Below 30 years (Relaxable for Government servants up to the age of 40 years as per the extant instructions issued by the Government from time to time)

Selection Procedure for Demonstrator, Laboratory Assistant and Laboratory Attendant Posts

Selection of candidates would be done on the basis of Written Test/Practical Test/Selection.
