IIM Nagpur declared the criteria for shortlisting first MBA batch. IIM Nagpur is being mentored by IIM Ahmedabad. IIM Nagpur has also launched the website of the first upcoming B-school out of the 6 proposed new IIMs.

Out of the 6 new IIMs which were proposed , only IIM Nagpur`s website is live now. It has been made live by its mentor IIM College IIM Ahmedabad. The officlal website of IIM Nagpur mentions “Indian Institute of Management Nagpur plans to start the first batch of its Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management from July 2015. The institute has started groundwork for its activities under the guidance and mentorship of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, one of the top institutes of management in India and the Asia-Pacific. IIMN will be temporarily located within the campus of VNIT, Nagpur till it moves to its own campus (of approx 200 acres) in about 3 years time.”

IIM Nagpur has 60 seats. The shortlisting Criteria for eligibility for Post Graduate Programme in Management, 2015-17 based on CAT 2014 cut off at IIM Nagpur would be as follows. The candidates will be provided a link where they ‘MUST’ express and reconfirm their desire to pursue their candidature further for the admission to PGP in management at "IIM Nagpur" by 31st May 2015. Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria will not receive any email.

If interest is not re-confirmed then, candidates even if eligible will not be called in for further selection process.

The tuition fee for IIM Nagpur is going to be around Rs. 10 lakhs for 2 years. The exact break up of this fee will be given in the prospectus. The launched campus of IIM Nagpur is the temporary one. It will shuft to its own campus in approximately three years.
