IIM aspirants having considerable work expertise can also cheer as the institute has kept a provision to reward then with 8 per cent weightage to value their hardwork. Candidates with minimum 36 months will fetch maximum weight.

The score/weight will be calculated as: Score for Work Experience = 8x/36 (if 0 < x < 36) = 8 (if x >= 36) Where x is the months of work experience up to July 2017, as captured in CAT application form (and substantiated in the application to IIMV).

    2% weigh to Gender Diversity

IIM-V also follow the footsteps of the other IIMs in honouring the gender diversity. The institute has allotted 2% weigt to the Female Candidates at the pre-PI rank list for interview shortlisting.

Whereas, the score assigned for gender diversity will not be accounted during the shortlisting of candidates at ‘Stage 3’.

Final Round Selection and their respective points

In the final round, only Qualified Confirmed Candidates will undergo WAT & PI round. Thereafter, a shortlist will be prepared comprising of the overall peroformance in each round and the points earned by each candidate on various criteria of selection.
