IIT JEE Main – 2017 Examination was held in two modes – Online and Offline. Offline mode of the examination was conducted on 02 Apr 2017 and online mode was conducted on 08 Apr 2017 and 09 Apr 2017. Around 12 lakh student appeared for the examination in both online and offline mode of examination.
JEE Main 2017 Examination was conducted in two parts - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 was conducted for BTech aspirants while Paper 2 was conducted for BArch aspirants. Paper 2 is not related to JEE Advanced. In this article we are going to analyze Physics section of the paper. The Physics section of JEE Main Paper consisted of 30 questions. Each question was allotted 4 (four) marks for correct response. There was also the provision of deduction of one-fourth marks for each incorrect response and no mark was deducted for unattempted question. Almost 15-18 questions were NCERT based and rest requires some advanced knowledge.

Get JEE Main 2016 Mathematics Analysis
Almost equal number of questions were asked from Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus. The paper was a good mixture of easy and moderate question.
