Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Ropar invited applications for recruitment to the post of Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Junior Superintendent, Junior Accountant, Steno, Junior Assistant and Junior Lab Assistant and Junior Technical Superintendent. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format on or before 30 May 2016.
Under IIT Ropar Recruitment 2016, out of total 23 posts, 01 posts are for Registrar, 01 post for Assistant Registrar, 03 posts for Jr. Superintendent, 02 posts for Jr. Accountant, 02 posts for Steno, 02 posts for Junior Assistant, 03 posts are for Junior Technical Superintendent and 09 posts for Jr. Lab Assistant.
Eligibility for Deputy Registrar: candidate should have Postgraduate degree in any discipline or its equivalent grade with minimum55 % or equivalent with 5 years experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent in Administration/Finance/Accounts/Establishment/Academic in Scientific organization/University/Technological Institutions.
Eligibility for Assistant Registrar: candidate should have Postgraduate degree in any discipline or its equivalent grade with minimum 55% with 05 years relevant administrative experience in supervisory capacity in a Govt. office/University/Technological Institution.
Eligibility for Junior Superintendent: candidate should have Bachelor Degree in any discipline with 4 years experience as Senior Assistant or equivalent OR Master Degree in any discipline with 1 year experience as Personal Secretary/Assistant of Senior level officer and Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications M.S. Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent.
Eligibility for Junior Accountant: candidate should have B.Com with 2 years relevant experience and knowledge of accounting software.
Eligibility for Steno: candidate should have Bachelor degree with a minimum speed of 80 wpm stenography and 30 wpm typing and Knowledge of computer office applications with 2 years experience as steno.
Eligibility for Junior Assistant: candidate should have Bachelor Degree with knowledge of computer office applications.
Eligibility for Junior Technical Assistant: candidate should have Masters Degree in chemistry/Materials Science.
Eligibility for Junior Lab Assistant: candidate should have Diploma in Mechanical Engg/Electrical Engg/Electronics Engg/Instrumentation OR ITI in related trades OR BSc with both Physics and Mathematics and experience in Proven record of handling lab instruments in the B.Tech or MSc (Physics) teaching labs and Diploma (in CSE or IT) or BSc (CS/IT) or BE/B.Tech (CS/IT) or BCA or MCA.
