Eligibility Criteria for Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow and Young Professional-I Job
Educational Qualification
• Senior Research Fellow (Dr. Sewa Ram, PS & PI of the project): Master’s Degree in Plant Biochemistry/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Diotechnology/Bioinformatics with 4 or 5 year of Bachelor Degree OR Master Degree in Plant Biochemistry/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics with 3 years of Bachelor Degree and 2 years of Master’s Degree and having NET qualified. OR Ph.D. in Plant Biochemistry/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics.
• Junior Research Fellow (Dr. Sewa Ram project): Master in plant Biochemistry / biotechnology/ Genetics and plant Breeding / Bioinformatics and NET qualified.
• Senior Research Fellow (Dr. Sindhu Sareen project): Master in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics NET qualified. NET exemption will be given to the candidates having PhD degree. OR Candidates having four year graduation degree.
• Junior Research Fellow (Dr. Sindhu Sareen, PS & PI of the project): M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/Agricultural Botany/Plant Sciences with specialization in Genetics/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. OR Candidates with 3 years Bachelor’s degree should have professional master’s degree (3years) and those with 2 years Master’s degree should have qualified NET/national level test.
• Senior Research Fellow (Dr. Mamrutha HM project): Master degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Biological Sciences with 4 or 5 years bachelor degree or Master Degree in biotechnology/Biochemistry/Biological Sciences with 3 years bachelor degree and having NET qualified.
• Young Professional – I (Dr. Arun Gupta project): B.Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc. (Botany).
Age Limit for Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow and Young Professional-I Job
Not exceeding 35 years of age (The age relaxation for reserved candidates will be as per the rules of Govt.)
Selection Procedure for Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow and Young Professional-I Posts
Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of interview.
