Pay Scale:
- For Project Scientist ‘D’: Pay Band- 3 of Rs.15600- 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600 per month
- For Project Scientist ‘C’: Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15600- 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 per month
- For Project Scientist ‘B’: Pay Band- 3 of Rs.15600- 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 per month
Eligibility criterion:
Educational Qualification:
- For posts A1 & A2: Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences OR B. Tech in Engineering/ Technology (Computer Science/ Computer Engineering) with 7 years relevant experience.
- For post A3: Master’s Degree in Agriculture Meteorology/ Agriculture/ Agriculture Physics/ Natural Science OR Engineering Degree in Computer Science/ Agricultural Engineering or equivalent.
- For post B1: Master’s Degree in Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Science/ Physics/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Applied Physics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Electronics with 7 years relevant experience.
- For post B2: Master’s Degree in Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Science/ Physics/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Applied Physics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Electronics & Telecommunication with 3 years relevant experience.
- For post B3: Master’s Degree in Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Science/ Physics/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Applied Physics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Electronics & Telecommunication.
- For post C1: Master’s Degree in Meteorology/ Atmospheric Science/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ Applied Physics/ Geo-informatics/ Remote Sensing GIS/ any other subject specified in the relevant field OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology OR ME/ M. Tech in Civil/ CS/ IT/ Water Resources/ Hydrology with 7 years relevant experience.
- For post D1: Master’s Degree in Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Science/ Physics/ Aviation/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics OR B. Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology with at least 7 years relevant experience.
- For post E1: Master’s Degree in Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Science/ Physics/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Applied Physics OR BE/ B. Tech in Electronics/ Computer Science/ Environmental Engineering.
Maximum Age Limit:
- For Project Scientist ‘B’ post: not exceed 28 years
- For Project Scientist ‘C’ post: not exceed 40 years
- For Project Scientist ‘D’ post: not exceed 50 years
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the interview.
