Eligibility Criteria for Indian Institute of Public Administration Various Jobs:

• Chair Professor- An eminent scholar with Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality in Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, Constitutional Law and/or Ambedkar Studies, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
• Professor of Applied Economics- An eminent scholar with Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality in the field of Economic theories and Quantitative methods, Public Finance, Economics for Public Policy, Indian Economic Development, Planning, Taxation, International Trade etc., actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
• Assistant Professor of Applied Economics- Minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Economics/Applied Economics with Ph.D. in Economics/Applied Economics or an allied/related discipline and published work of high quality in the field of Macroeconomics, Statistics and Econometrics, Economic Development and Policy in India, Environmental and Resource Economics, Health Economics, International Economics, Monetary and Financial Economics, and Public Economics etc., actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 05 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
• Assistant Professor of Urban Management- Minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in M. Planning or Urban Management or Applied Geography with specialization in Urban Planning and Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline along with being qualified in NET.
• Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice- Minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in relevant discipline and Ph.D. in criminology, criminal justice, or a related field along with being qualified in NET.
