The Indian Maritime University (IMU) invited applications for recruitment of various Scientists Posts. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 15 January 2014. The IMU is a Central University that was established on 14 November 2008. It is the only university in the country, dedicated to imparting quality education in the maritime field. Educational Qualification
- Scientist – F: PhD in the relevant subject with 14 years of relevant Experience or Master degree in Engineering with 17 years of relevant experience or Bachelor degree in Engineering with 19 years of relevant experience.
- Scientist – E: PhD in the relevant subject with 9 years of relevant experience or Master degree in Engineering with 12 years of relevant experience or Bachelor degree in Engineering with 14 years of relevant experience.
- Scientist – D: PhD in the relevant subject with 4 years of relevant experience or Master degree in Engineering with 7 years of relevant experience or Bachelor degree in Engineering with 9 years of relevant experience.
- Scientist – C: PhD in the relevant subject or Master degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelor degree in Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Scientist – B: Bachelor degree in Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Senior Project Technical Assistant: Bachelor degree in Engineering or Diploma in engineering with 4 years of relevant experience or Master of Sciences or Bachelor of Sciences with 2 years relevant experience.

- Scientist – F: Rs. 37400-67000 + AGP Rs.8900
- Scientist – E: Rs. 37400-67000 + AGP Rs.8700
- Scientist – D: Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP Rs.7600
- Scientist – C: Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP Rs.6600
- Scientist – B: Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP Rs.5400
