Indian Railway to recruit 1 Lakh workers in Safety Department

Railway has decided to hire 1 Lakh workers in Public Safety Category after the first marathon meeting of Railway Board Officials with Railway Minister Piyush Goyal. The Railway Officials decided to recruit 1 Lakh workers in Safety Category to overcome the Shortage of employees in Safety Category.

Railway has decided to hire 1 Lakh workers in Safety Department after the first marathon meeting of Railway Board Officials with Railway Minister Piyush Goyal. The Railway Officials decided to recruit 1 Lakh workers in Safety Department to overcome the Shortage of employees in Safety Category.

The Railway Board will recruit Junior Engineers and Senior Section Engineers in the Safety Category. In the next three months, a large number of Assistant Station Masters and Guardians will be recruited. In addition, 50% of Group-C posts will be filled through the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB). The half posts of Group D will be filled by RRB and the remaining half posts through Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC).

The Railway will take services of retired employees on the contract basis when it needed. The Board instructed to solve the problems of pilots and loco pilots immediately which are related to accommodation and catering.
