Eligibility Criteria for Specialist (Hydro) Job
Educational Qualification and Age Limit:
- A Cat “B” Hydrographer/SR-1 from a IHO Certified Institute OR B.Tech (Civil Engg.)/B.Tech (Survey Engineering) OR Associate Member of Institution of Surveyors in Subdivision I(B).
- Min. post qualification, exp. of 15 (fifteen) years in conducting Hydrographic Survey, investigation and measurements. Bathymetric Surveys,Topographic Survey in a variety of Geographical locations. Experience in waterways/port/river mapping with proficiency in using the GIS Software working knowledge, Spatial data formats and related meta data issues Working knowledge on S-57 data and ENC.Working knowledge of web mapping applications such as Google Earth, Bhuvan. Caris GIs etc.
