ISRO Notified Recruitment for 2 Scientist/ Engineer vacancies at LPSC Unit, Thiruvananthapuram 2014

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under Department of Space, Government of India issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 2 posts of Scientists/ Engineers ‘SC’ with its Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) Unit located at Valiamala near Thiruvananthapuram. Interested candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with copies of required certificates/ documents to the concerned authority by post so as to reach the LPSC Thiruvananthapuram Office on or before 31 October 2014.

Scientist/ Engineer ‘SC’: 2 posts

Eligibility Criterion:

Maximum Age limit: 35 years

Qualifications: B.E/ B. Tech in Mechanical OR Chemical OR Industrial OR Production Engineering with M.E/ M.Tech in Industrial Safety OR Fire & Safety Engineering.

Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 per month

Eligibility Criterion:

Maximum Age limit: 35 years

Qualifications: B.E/ B. Tech in Metallurgy OR Material Science 

The posts are temporary, but likely to continue indefinitely.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview.

Candidates called for the Interview will have to produce all documents in original for verification.

Initially the place of posting will be LPSC, Valiamala; however, selected candidates will be liable to be posted in any of the Centres or Units of ISRO or Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.

Travel allowance: Outstation candidates appearing for the Interview will be paid to & fro Second Class Railway Fare as travel allowance on production of travel proof.
