IT Officer scale II eligibility criterion

Q: I came across a new notification by IBPS which notifies few changes for the post of IT Officer (Scale II) in the Specialist Officer recruitment. Please guide me about the same.

A: IBPS has notified a new notice with few changes in the eligibility criteria (educational qualification) for 3 posts of Specialist Officers. As per the new notice, candidates applying for the post of IT Officer Scale II (Post Code 08) can include BSc degree or equivalent in the Degree column and DOEACC A level/ equivalent qualification in the text box in the others column. Besides this, the rest of the educational qualification required for the post remains unchanged.

The age limit required for this post is 21 years to 40 years as on 1 December 2011. Candidates with an year of experience in the similar discipline can apply before 21 January 2012.
