Eligibility Criteria for Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi Recruitment 2017

Education Qualification

Associate Professor/ Professor: Possess Ph. D./ Doctoral Degree in the respective specialization.

Assistant Professor: Possess Master’s Degree in appropriate discipline with NET qualified.

Experience required for Professor and Other Jobs

Assistant Professor: as applicable.

Associate Professor: 04 years.

Professor: 10 years.

Age Limit

Gen: as on last date of receipt of application.

Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 30 years and 33 years in case of Ph.D. candidate.

Associate Professor: Not exceeding 45 years.

Professor: Not exceeding 50 years.

OBC: Relaxation of 03 years.

SC/ ST Category: Relaxation of 05 years.

PWD Candidates: Relaxation of 10 years.

Other Candidates: As per norms.

Selection Procedure for Professor and Other Jobs

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of Qualification/ Experience/ Written Test and/ or Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.

Application Fee Procedure for Professor and Other Jobs

Gen./ OBC & Other: Rs. 500/- in the form of Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order (IPO).

SC/ ST Category Candidates: Pay Rs. 250/-.
