Eleven leading Japanese universities are all game to participate in a day long Japan Education Fair that would be held at the Delhi Public School in R.K Puram on 30 August 2012.
This event is to be organized by Ritsumeikan India office, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan, the Japan Foundation and DPS, R. K. Puram. The objective of the fair is to promote academic and cultural exchanges between both the countries.
The fair will also facilitate and create awareness about opportunities in higher education in Japan, and will also conduct interactions between representatives of Japanese universities and Indian students. The event is the part of the 60th anniversary of Japan India diplomatic relations.
The event will also explain to the students, of how the language is not a barrier while studying in a Japanese university. One of the important objective of the project is to attract excellent students from across the world. The initiative has set itself an ambitious target of enrolling 300,000 foreign students by 2020.
