JBIMS Admission Criteria

Candidates aspiring to secure admission the MMS program at JBIMS will need to apply and appear for the management entrance exams whose score is accepted by JBIMS. If JBIMS conducts its own admission process then it will accept only two entrance exams i.e. MAHCET and CAT as seen from the past trends. However, if it participates in the DTE CAP round the accepted entrance exams might be more than just the two mentioned above. Last year, it also accpeted the CMAT exam scores as all the Maharashtra B-schools participating in DTE-CAP rounds were asked by AICTE to accept CMAT scores by all means.

Apart from score in the written exam, evaluation criteria will take into account complete personality of the candidate, which includes various parameters like extra-curriculars, other significant achievements. Work experience  is also a component of the admission criteria and will be given due weightage. However, if a fresher have other substantial credentials, they can cover up in other parameters. Work-ex alone would not be the deciding criteria.
