According to Dev who attempted the JEE Main 2019 January session also, "the exam was good but Maths was a bit tricky. The difficulty level of January and April sessions was almost similar.”

Dev also suggested students of second slot to practice previous year’s papers and memorize formulae as many questions asked in JEE Main are directly formula based.

Another student, Ankush Jha said, "The Chemistry section was the easiest one. Mathematics section in paper was of moderate level with containing easy as well as difficult questions."

Career Counseling

Ritesh Garg said, "The Physics section was difficult as usual."

He also suggested that students of shift 2 must prepare Calculus and Conic section properly to score good marks.

JEE Main 2019 (12 April, Shift 1): Paper Analysis and Students' Feedback

JEE Main 2019 (April 12, Shift 1) was held today. Check paper analysis & student's reaction. A team from Jargan Josh is collecting feedback from students at various examination centres. Many students who took this exam today told us that the questions in the Physics section were a bit difficult. Whereas Chesmitry was the easiest section. Many questions in Chemistry section were asked from Class 11 & Class 12 NCERT textbooks. More updates will be available here shortly.

JEE Main 2019 Paper I: Paper Analysis and Students' Feedback from April 8 to 10

As per students who appeared for JEE Main 2019 from April 8 to 10, the toughest section was Physics as it had a few questions of high difficulty level. The Mathematics section was moderate but it was a bit time-consuming because of heavy calculations in some questions. The Chemistry section was the easiest and mostly questions were picked from CBSE Class 11 and 12 NCERT books. Various teams from Jagranjosh.com are present at different JEE Main Exam Centres to collect the feedback of students about the difficulty level of the exam. We will share the feedback of students here once the exam in the first shift will get over. It will definitely help students who are going to appear for the exam in the next slot.
