Toughest: Physics section of JEE Main-2014 can be considered as the most difficult among all the sections. Most of the questions in this section were  above averagae level and very ambiguous. 3 or 4 questions in the section were very tedious and require lengthy calculations. Moreover, more than one concept was required in many questions to solve them.

Equal weightage to 10th & 12th: The question in physics section of JEE Main-2014 require strong fundamentals. Equal weightage was given to the board syllabus of class 11th & class 12th. Same number of questions was asked from the syllabus of both the classes. Questions composition was almost uniform from Class 11 and Class 12.

Important topics: Mechanic & Electronics: From analysis it is very obvious that in the previous two years, the major focus was on Electro Dynamics & Dynamics. In both the years more than 50% questions were from these two topics. Modern physics was also a very important topic as good number of questions was asked from this topic as well.
