Few questions from the sample paper are given below:

    Q.         If  [.] and {.} denotes the greatest integer and fractional part functions respectively, then

                (A)  f(x) is continuous at all integral points

                (B)  f(x) is continuous and differentiable at x = 0

                (C)  f(x) is continuous and differentiable at 1

                (D)  f(x) is not differentiable on I

    Q.       From a given sample of uniform wire two circular loops are made: P of radius r and Q of radius nr. If the moment of inertia of Q about its axis is 4 times that of P about

its axis (assuming wire diameter is much smaller than either radius), the value of n is:

                (A) 42/3

                (B) 41/3

                (C) 41/2

                (D) 41/4

    Q.       Replacement of chlorine of chlorobenzene to give phenol requires drastic conditions but chlorine of 2, 4 -dinitrochlorobenzene is readily replaced because

                (A) nitro makes the ring electron rich at ortho and para positions.

                (B) nitro withdraws electrons at meta position

                (C) nitro donates electrons at meta position

                (D) nitro withdraws electrons at ortho and para positions.
